Understanding Accessibility
At Manchester Building Society we work hard to bring our services to everyone and in a way that is accessible for our communities. We want our website to be easy for everyone to use, no matter their technology or abilities.
What are we doing about accessibility?
This website follows Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These rules help make websites easier to use for people with disabilities and improve the experience for everyone.
We use reliable HTML and CSS coding, so the site works well in modern browsers and should continue to work in future ones too.
Our site is tested on Chrome and Edge. It should also work on other browsers like Safari and Firefox.
This website might not work well on Internet Explorer. This is because Microsoft stopped updating it in 2022. Instead, they now support a newer browser called Microsoft Edge.
We are always looking for ways to make our website more accessible for everyone. If you have any trouble using it, please contact us.
